In the last section, the view for the "This PC" and "Network" folders can also be customized. WinSetView offers a selection of 16 frequently used options. In the next section, you can also determine the columns used in the detail view. The latter option is used by default in the Downloads folder, for example. File extensions can also be shown or hidden and the grouping of contents switched off. You can choose from Details, List, Tiles, Contents, Small Icons, Medium-sized Icons, and Large Icons. To open the graphical user interface, you only have to start the WinSetView.hta file contained in the archive. Administrator rights are not required, as only the view for the currently active user profile is changed. The tool works under Windows 10 (32-bit / 64-bit), whether it is also compatible with older versions of the operating system is not communicated by the developer. WinSetView does not need to be installed and can be used directly after unzipping the downloaded archive.
